The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for YSBU. A big thank you to the people who made this year awesome: our active administrators, our wonderful viewers and of course, potatoes. Well, I guess potatoes don’t count as people but… who cares?
Here’s an excerpt:
A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 5,700 times in 2014. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 5 trips to carry that many people.

Sweet_Pea is no longer an admin due to some personal problems, and we’re all very sorry to see her go! Going to miss you loads, Sweetie! Thanks for giving the blog so much!
On the other hand, it is possible that Amazowriter and Melisme will join YSBU! =)
Guys!! @Sweet_Pea just became a part of YSBU!!
*Punches air like a crazy potato*
YES YES YES!!!
Welcome, Morgan! Glad to have you as a part of the team 🙂
Guys, I’m hyperventilating! I’ve got some potatorific news:
Someone has joined YSBU as an admin.
That someone is…
the one and only…
I am soo excited! Welcome, Sky! 😀
In case you don’t already know, SkyBluePurple is a Storyspotter on Storybird, and a pretty potatorific person 🙂
=D Can you believe it? Seems too good to be true, no? 😀
*This is now closed. For the moment, at least. All those who replied under this comment will be contacted on SB soon. Thanks.*
I’m a little short on ideas about what to post at the moment, and I need some fellow admins. If you’re interested, just comment below, with your username, why you want to admin and what you have in mind. You need to be a Storybirder, and have at least 5 books/chapter books/poems. I’ll talk to you on Storybird about administrating the blog soon after you comment 😀
Remember, any inappropriate behaviour, if you are chosen, will result in immediate expulsion. Wow, I sound like a principal.
